FMC Asaba is a Federal Medical Centre under the direct authority of the Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare. Established in August 1998 on the grounds of the former General Hospital, Asaba, it operates under a board of management with a mandate to deliver quality tertiary healthcare and support medical training and research in Delta State.

Discharge Policy

Discharge is authorised by the attending consultant physician in consultation with the patient and family. A discharge summary is issued to every patient.

Hours & Holidays

General Outpatient and Family Medicine: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 4 PM. Emergency, ICU, Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Maternity services operate 24 hours, 7 days a week.
